On 03-04 October 2019, Zhytomyr will host the Second Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, with the Presidents of both countries – H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyi and H.E. Mr. Oleksandr Lukashenko – planning to attend the event.
The event aims to further develop relations between the two countries, establish and strengthen direct ties at the level of regions, cities and businesses.
In 2018, the First Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, held in Gomel (the Republic of Belarus) with the participation of the Presidents of both countries, brought together about a thousand of business representatives and government officials from both countries.
During the Forum, the participants had an opportunity to present their products. Within the framework of the event, 12 agreements were concluded at different levels – interstate, intergovernmental, interregional, the implementation of which will allow to reach a new level of Ukrainian-Belarusian economic relations.
This year, the Forum will be held in Ukraine. Representatives of business circles of the region are invited to participate in the event and get the opportunity to start mutually beneficial economic relations. Participation in the forum will allow representatives of business to present to Belarusian partners the economic potential of their own enterprises, forge direct business links, establish mutually beneficial cooperative relations, get up-to-date information on the situation on the market of the Republic of Belarus.
The program of the event includes a plenary part, panel discussions on various topics, conferences and B2B meetings between companies, as well as informal communication between Ukrainian and Belarusian participants.
The exhibition of large-sized machinery, the exhibition of arts and crafts and the fair of products will take place on 03-04 October 2019 in Zhytomyr.
The plenary session of the Forum with the participation of the Presidents of both countries is scheduled for 04 October 2019 from 10:00 to 15:00 in the premises of the Zhytomyr Regional Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater named after Ivan Kocherha.
