On 06 November, the Chairman of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Mr. Vitalii Bunechko together with the representative of the Turkish company MNG Mr. Bilgin Neсmi and the Chairman of the Board of PJSC “EC “Zhytomyroblenergo” Mr. Oleksii Sheketa signed a memorandum of cooperation on the construction of 5 MW MW solar power plant in the Bronykivska Amalgated Territorial Community.
“We are ready to facilitate to the highest possible extent the work of investors in the region. The memorandum we sign today is the guarantee of our comprehensive assistance. We are grateful that you start your investment activity in Zhytomyr region. I am convinced that the future solar power plant will be the first, but not the only project of your company in our region”, Mr. Bunechko said.
The project presupposes creation of about 20 new jobs, as well as the development of the social sphere, the construction, rehabilitation and expansion of the network of infrastructure facilities of the Bronykivska ATC.
According to MNG representatives, the construction of such solar power plant is an initial stage, totally about 200 MW are planned to be launched in Ukraine.
The construction is to start in April 2020. The cost of the project is about USD 5 million.
The first deputy chairman of the Regional State Administration Volodymyr Fedorenko also participated in the meeting.
